For a defined ticker list with known release times, the scraper was already on the IR / filing URL at the print. It parsed EPS, revenue, and guidance, checked the client's rules, and posted a Slack message with the few numbers that matter plus a recommend / stand-down line — so they could take the trade themselves, not wait on a recap.
A typical ping carried ticker and period, reported vs consensus, surprise, guidance tone, which rules passed, observed-at latency, and a source link. Misses, stale pages, and markup that did not match last quarter never pinged. Same pattern for any clocked release where the desk wants the structured print on Slack before they have finished opening the document.
Data delivery for research — not a recommendation to buy or sell. The client places the trade.
