Privacy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This policy explains what Rocket Square collects when you use rocketsquare.ca, create an account, or use our scraping and ETL services — and how we use it.

What we collect

  1. Contact details you send us — name, email, and whatever you put in a consultation form or message.
  2. Account details if you sign up — email, name, and sign-in method (password or Google / GitHub).
  3. Project data needed to do the work — target URLs, credentials you choose to share, field lists, sample outputs, and scraper status in the app.
  4. Scraped content from sources you ask us to collect, which is usually non-personal public information.
  5. Basic technical logs — IP address, browser, device type, and when you hit the site. Footprint logging is optional and off by default.

How we use it

  1. To deliver scraping, ETL, and related services you requested.
  2. To run your account, authentication, and app workspace.
  3. To reply about quotes, status, confirmations, and support.
  4. To keep the site working and improve it.
  5. To meet legal obligations when we have to.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us, including hashed passwords and HTTPS. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; we don’t claim otherwise. Treat API keys like secrets.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tech for sign-in sessions, basic site function, and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (including login) may break.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We may use processors (email delivery, hosting, database, OAuth providers, payment) that need access to run the service. We share data if the law requires it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above reflects the latest version posted here.
